Middle income housing - built for those making between roughly 80% and 120% of Area Median Income (AMI) - is the housing built least often. The costs to build are high for all housing types, but middle income earners struggle to find homes they can afford, and don't qualify for traditionally subsidized low-income housing. The result is that housing to serve them is "missing.” The MMHF connects a community of innovators, creative problem solvers, and doers to find and scale innovations to reduce the time and cost to build workforce housing. Better housing for all of us enables people, places, and economies to thrive.
